Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 13.01 - OIL DRILLING DISTRICTS (O)The purpose for establishing Oil Drilling Districts are to establish provisions that will apply to the areas where the drilling of oil wells or the production from the wells of oil, gases or other hydrocarbon substances is permitted. The provisions shall not apply to the property in the M3 Zone, except as specifically provided here to the contrary. The provisions shall not apply to the location of subterranean gas holding areas which are operated as a public utility and which are regulated by the provisions of Section 14.00 of the Zone Code.
